Frontiers-DTS
What is this DTS about?
The Frontiers DTS is a DTS with the full DTS curriculum but with special emphasis on reaching out to the Frontiers. The whole DTS will be for six months - three months of lecture (including a weekly local outreach) and three months of outreach (practical field assignment). The outreach will focus on specific people-groups instead of places so that we can prepare ourselves more strategically in order to reach them. Apart from the regular DTS curriculum, some of the areas that this DTS will be looking into:
Basic Cross-Cultural Communications
Celebrating Different Cultures
Contextual Worship
People-Group Research and so on
What are the Frontiers?
The Frontiers are those people-groups who still haven't heard the gospel or have no long-term workers working among them. Some examples of these people-groups are the Kashmiri Muslims, Gujarati Muslims, Rajputs, Bhat, Bhutanese Buddhists etc. This school will also focus on some sub-cultures within our society; examples of these include the commercial sex workers, students, call-center workers, HIV/AIDS patients etc. These examples are just to give you an idea about some of the many Unreached People-Groups and Sub-Cultures. The school may or may not focus on them this season, depending on how God leads.
If you have a heart to see the FRONTIERS reached with the GOSPEL of God, come and be a part of this DTS. COME partner with God, in reaching out to them.
